Plenty of Arsenal fans have sent positive messages to ‘crazy talented’ Joe Willock, who they claim ‘needs time’ before he can be the best that he can be at the north London club.
Supporters sent their encouragement to the young man after the Gunners’ official Twitter page relayed comments from an interview with the 20-year old, where he revealed to the club about the tough times that he faced growing up with his two footballing brothers.
Willock opened up about how he watched a Pele training video as a kid, how tough it was growing up in Walthamstow, what his brothers are like and how much they loved the beautiful game.
The Englishman has 19 caps for the international youth teams and is one short of his 50th appearance for the senior Arsenal team, according to Transfermarkt. He is somewhat enjoying a breakthrough season at the moment, as the central midfield player has played 19 times in this Premier League campaign.
