Arsenal: Fans show their support for Alexandre Lacazette after barren spell continues

Arsenal fans were showing their support for Alexandre Lacazette after his barren spell in front of goal continued in the draw away to Burnley.

It’s now been nine games across all competitions since the centre-forward notched up a goal for the Gunners with his last strike coming in the 2-1 loss at home to Brighton and Hove Albion (via Transfermarkt). However, even more worryingly the France international hasn’t scored a goal away from the Emirates Stadium in just under a year with his last goal coming in the 2-1 win away to Huddersfield Town last season (via BBC).

One fan showed his support as he labelled the 28-year-old as ‘class’.

Sky Sports (via The Express) pundit Graeme Souness criticised the player for the chances he missed against the Clarets, claiming he should’ve done better with his headed chance in the early knockings of the fixture. He’s been great for us and he will again. He seems to have lost some confidence. I believe he should be temporarily dropped, Aubameyang needs to go down the middle with Martinelli and Pepe either side.
