Many Arsenal fans have pleaded the club to snap up ‘dream signing’ Thomas Partey after witnessing his impressive performance away at Anfield in the Champions League.
The Atletico Madrid midfielder helped his side beat Liverpool in the second-leg to book themselves in the quarter-finals after a 4-2 aggregate win.
Partey achieved a 7.4 rating on Sofascore which was the highest out of the starting eleven in the Madrid team. He also did well in key areas for a defensive-midfielder, including blocked shots (2), interceptions (4), tackles (4) and clearances (4).
The Ghanaian international – who was linked with a move to the club by Libertad Digital – has made 35 appearances in all competitions this season for Atletico Madrid, scoring three goals and providing one assist (via Transfermarkt).
As a result, many Arsenal fans have called for the Gunners to sign up Partey in the summer, with one fan highlighting his strength, power and pace before pleading with the north London club to ‘get it done’:
