Still celebrating THAT Oliver Giroud goal, the Arsenal fans propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern really are in good spirits.
While the Gunners are not currently threatening for the title, the north London locals believe there is still a long way to go in the title race, despite the strength of growing ever bitter rivals, Chelsea.
Until their recent slip-ups against Everton and Manchester City, many were touting the squad currently at Arsene Wenger’s disposal as his strongest in years.
Now, according to the Sun, our locals are excited to hear another big name could be drafted over to the Emirates.
They claim Le Prof has contacted Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic over the notion of a move to north London and it has reportedly been well received by the Bosnian.
It’s thought the Gunners are readying a £28m bid for the former Roma man, though the Old Lady are said to be reluctant to sell a man they only signed this summer.
Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla is out of contract in the summer and it’s believed the 26-year-old could be a replacement for the popular Spaniard should he opt to leave the Big Smoke.
Would Pjanic be a good signing for Arsenal? Let us know below…
