Many Arsenal fans are unhappy with the date set for them to play their rescheduled fixture against Manchester City in the Premier League.
The fixture will now be played on Wednesday, March 11th at 7:30 p.m. This means that the match will clash with two Champions League ties: Liverpool will play Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint Germain are due to play Borussia Dortmund, both in the second leg of their ties at 8:00 p.m.
Gunners fans may have wanted this fixture to be rescheduled for another date so they can watch these ties, though this will now not be the case. Other fans are unhappy that they will have to travel to Manchester midweek if they want to go and watch the game from the Etihad Stadium, where it can be potentially difficult to get back to London at a reasonable time if they are working or occupied the next day.
These fans were particularly unhappy:
Will the club be offering a refund facility for away scheme members that can’t make the game due to the short notice of the announcement?

I think they should. This is just ridiculous. Also by far not the only available week day to play that game.

Postpone it to May

This is so disappointing. No thought goes to away fans and tickets haven’t even gone on sale.
