Indeed, the Red Devils have been negotiating with the 33-year-old for weeks and the star has just received a new, improved offer, which will see him extend his stay at Old Trafford to nearly a decade.

Ashley Young has been a key member for Manchester United over the past couple of seasons, which can be put down to Jose Mourinho’s decision to transform him into a full-back.
United will be delighted that Young is close to penning a new deal as he has already played a big part under Solskjaer, and he will continue to during the second half of the season.
