The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern have been toying with the idea of offloading Shkodran Mustafi for a while now. The German centre-back has proved to be utterly useless at times for The Gunners and according to Corriere Dello Sport, via Sport Witness, Juventus could be his next club.

Mustafi would suit a side like Juventus down to a tee. The German defender often gets caught out at the back in Arsenal’s set-up, however, that could be a lot down to the fact that Hector Bellerin next to him and Granit Xhaka in front of him always end selling the 26-year-old centre-back short. However, with the likes of Georgio Chiellini and Andrea Barzagli alongside him, he would no doubt be a hit in Turin.
Unai Emery has already taken steps to ensure his defence will be tougher next season. The Spanish gaffer has signed both Stephan Lichtsteiner and Sokratis Papastathopoulos this summer already and with Lucas Torreira in the pipeline, the club will be looking to have a much tighter defence this time around. Whether Mustafi stays or not, the fans will hope he can get his career back on track be it at The Emirates or not.

As you can see, the Arsenal fans in the Tavern are keen to get Mustafi off their books and would love to cash in from Juevntus’ interest.
