Barcelona: Fans react to Lionel Messi and Ousmane Dembele returning from injury

Many Barcelona fans are delighted to see that Lionel Messi and Ousmane Dembele have been training with the squad ahead of their Champions League tie against Inter.

Messi missed the club’s 2-0 win against Getafe at the weekend with adductor problems, whilst Dembele was also out of that game with a muscle injury.

It has been a tough start to the campaign for both players, with the pair of them having barely featured so far due to injuries. Messi has played just 120 minutes in all competitions to date, with Dembele featuring marginally more having played for 134 minutes of the season.

But a post on Barcelona’s official Twitter page confirmed both were back in training, meaning they could feature against the Nerazzurri on Wednesday.

Naturally many supporters are likely to be delighted to see both back, but particularly Messi who remains their talisman and all-time record goalscorer.

They have certainly missed the Argentinian in his absence, having made a stuttering start to the season which has seen them win just four of their eight matches so far in all competitions.

Here is how some Barcelona fans have reacted to the news that Messi and Dembele are back in first team training on Twitter…
