It’s been a miserable few weeks for the Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern, who have watched some of the optimism picked up during the summer slowly seep out of the side.

A derby day thrashing at the hands of Celtic and seemingly inevitable problems with Joey Barton have soured the mood at Ibrox, with stalwart striker Kenny Miller the latest to have hit headlines for the wrong reasons.

The 36-year-old was arrested for an alleged assault in a Lanarkshire wine bar following the 5-1 thumping the Hoops handed to them.

As you can well imagine, the former Scotland international has been the subject of many a tweet, poking fun at the current state of proceedings at Ibrox.

Having played for both sides of the Glasgow divide, the ex-Hibs marksman has been the brunt of jibes on social media ever since the news was broken.
