Indeed, our resident Reds are gutted to hear reports suggesting Sadio Mane has once AGAIN been injured on international duty with Senegal ahead of the Premier League return this weekend. As you can imagine, our local Kopites are loudly venting their frustration.
The 24-year-old has already missed around a month after picking up a hamstring problem in October, so the idea of seeing him once again ruled out is really rather annoying to those on Merseyside. He’s thought to have aggravated his ailment and has been allowed to return to Melwood for treatment, as Liverpool prepare for the visit of Southampton on Saturday afternoon.
