Crystal Palace: Fans take to Twitter amid Victor Camarasa rumours

Crystal Palace fans have responded to rumours that the club have agreed personal terms with Real Betis midfielder Victor Camarasa.

According to Marca (via Football Espana), Crystal Palace are set to sign the Spanish midfielder, though there have been hold-ups about the structure of the transfer.

The report suggests that the deal will cost the Eagles between €12m and €15m (between £11m and £13.75m). It is said that Palace originally made a loan offer for the midfielder with an option to buy, however, Betis rejected the deal.

On Thursday, ABC de Sevilla and Mucho Deporte outlined that a fee of €15m (around £13.75m) is likely to be demanded of a player who has a €25m (around £22.91) release clause, of which Levante will get a 25% cut of.

Camarasa spent last season on loan in the Premier League, impressing in the Welsh capital with Cardiff. In his season loan deal, he bagged five times from his 32 games, including goals versus Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal.

The Bluebirds wanted to keep hold of the midfielder, however, relegation made that idea unrealistic.

The response from Palace fans has been pretty positive, with some fans expressing their hope for the signing coming off; while others are a bit more pessimistic, saying that they will believe the transfer when it comes off.
