Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern are chewing our landlord’s ear off with claims their side can win the title with Zlatan Ibrahimovic up front again next season.
Many initially doubted whether the veteran front-man would prove a success in the Premier League at the age of 35, especially after spending four years in the less competitive French top flight with PSG.
But nothing could be further from the truth; Zlatan has notched up 26 goals across all competitions this season and is currently fifth in the Premier League’s scoring charts with 15 – making you wonder where United would be this season if they hadn’t signed the enigmatic striker on a one-year deal.
And the 6 foot 5 forward has now confirmed that he’s already in talks to prolong his stay at Old Trafford, much to the delight of United patrons at the bar – who’ve all chipped in to buy a round for the entire Tavern to celebrate the news.
