The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to the amazing achievement reached by Mo Salah this season. The Egyptian has become the first player in Premier League history to win Premier League player of the month three times in the same season. Mohamed Salah has been an absolute revelation on Merseyside. His 29 Premier League goals and nine Premier League assists make him the most dangerous player in England this season and after picking up his third player of the month award for the season, he’s broken yet another record. The 25-year-old picked up the award forMarch after scoring six goals in four games as he adds it to his collection, next to his February and November additions of the award.
The Liverpool fans propping our bar up are having a pretty good Friday so far. Their main man has won the player of the month award and they’ve been drawn against Roma in the Champions League last four. If Salah can keep up his form against his former club then it shouldn’t be too difficult getting past the Italian side and just one game away from winning their first European trophy since 2005. No one would put it past Liverpool at the moment either, as long as they can keep Salah fit and firing.
