Palace fans are buzzing right now in the Transfer Tavern, and who can blame them?

With recent wins against Chelsea and Arsenal galvanising their fight against relegation, our landlord believes that Big Sam’s great escape is well and truly underway which is no surprise given his track record of survival in the Premier League.

The form of Wilfried Zaha and Christian Benteke has been vital in Palace’s turn in form and our resident Palace punters in the Tavern have been raising many a glass to the duo who really have pulled their socks up in recent weeks.

So, with Palace hitting form at the right time – the last seven fixtures in the Premier League season look like they could be vital in the Eagles securing top flight status as well as potentially fire Sam Allardyce’s men into a mid-table final position.

Saying that, our landlord is less than optimistic and warn that Palace don’t actually have the easiest run in.

Some of the sides the Eagles have to face also have a lot to play for and although they have had some big results in recent weeks, these fixtures will not be easy.

On top of this, our landlord has outlined the THREE fixtures that Palace really need to be careful about in order to regain Premier League status…

Liverpool (A) – 23 April

Palace have to travel to Anfield and with Jurgen Klopp’s men trying to secure a Champions League spot, our landlord has outlined that this game will not be easy for Sam Allardyce’s men especially if the Kop are in full force.

Our resident Palace punters are actually looking at this trip with confidence due to their recent form against top 6 sides, but with threats such as Philippe Coutinho among the Reds ranks, will the Eagles be able to get something from Anfield?

Manchester City (A) – 6 May

Like Liverpool, Pep Guardiola’s men are trying to solidify a Champions League spot and with this fixture coming late in the season, the desperation from City may spell bad news for Palace’s survival hopes.

Our landlord believes his resident Palace fans should not get too confident in their side getting something from their trip to the Etihad, especially considering both teams are playing for something.

There is no doubt that City will not roll over in this one.

Manchester United (A) – 21 May

Palace’s last game of the season comes at Old Trafford and with United also looking to secure Champions League football for next season, again, this will be no easy game for the Eagles.

Our resident Palace fans cannot believe their side have been drawn with three away games at the top six in their last seven games but our landlord is stressing that Palace cannot leave their survival chances until the final game of the season, especially if United are trying to achieve their season goals as well.
