It would seem a number of Birmingham City fans on Twitter have had enough of Pep Clotet and are demanding that he leaves the club before it’s too late.
With the Blues in action on Saturday against Cardiff City, it could have been a perfect time to silence some of the doubters and things certainly appeared to get off to a good start for the hosts. The St. Andrews outfit managed to open the scoring inside the first five minutes when Jude Bellingham put them ahead.
However, the Welsh club hit back in the second half through Lee Tomlin and managed to take a point from the game, leaving Clotet’s side in 18th and clear of the Championship’s relegation spots by nine points (BBC).

The manager conducted his post-match interview as usual, however it appears many of the club’s faithful did not want to hear what he had to say and have demanded that he is relieved of his duties as it is clear many do not feel things are working. Indeed, the Spaniard may have been given the role as head coach of the club permanently six months after he took over on an interim basis at the beginning of December (BBC), but things have not exactly been plain sailing nor easy either.
During Clotet’s tenure since that contract, Birmingham have managed just two Championship wins (and an FA Cup victory) in the 10 games to date across all competitions, with a further two draws (per WhoScored).
Therefore, it is hardly any wonder why so many fans reacted to the footage on Twitter of his interview calling for him to walk. Here are just some of their reactions…
