Birmingham City: Fans slam Harlee Dean for latest showing

Some Birmingham City fans took to Twitter to slam the performance of Harlee Dean after they witnessed their side suffer a heavy defeat to Hull City on Saturday afternoon.

Pep Clotet saw his side go behind just before the half-time interval when Tom Eaves put the ball in the net, however things clearly did not get any better.

The Tigers were on a mission to inflict more damage in the second half and Birmingham did not appear to be able to cope with it all, as goals from Kamil Grosicki and Keane Lewis-Potter were enough to send the visitors home empty-handed (BBC).

Fans were understandably furious with what they witnessed from their side, however the performance of Dean appeared to irate a number of them on Twitter.

Many of them blamed the 28-year-old centre-back for the third goal, whilst a host of the Birmingham faithful cannot understand how he is a professional footballer, let a lone in Clotet’s side at the moment.

On the flip-side, & while I agree we need a change of manager, the players need to look at themselves too. They can’t get off lightly. Harlee Dean, as captain, is a prime example. His attitude stinks at the moment and his performances are woeful. I’d get rid in summer #BCFC #KRO
