Birmingham City may have managed to salvage a point against Huddersfield Town away from home (BBC), however fans appeared to be more pleased with the performance of Connal Trueman on Twitter following the conclusion of the game.
Connal Trueman spoke to BluesTV after making his first appearance of the season and says Blues showed great character to come from behind at the John Smith’s stadium.

The 23-year-old replaced Lee Camp in between the sticks for the trip to the John Smith’s Stadium in his first appearance of the season and managed to put in a performance that got many of the Blues’ faithful reacting positively.
According to the data collected by WhoScored’s match centre, Trueman managed to make five saves to help keep Birmingham in the contest and give them the opportunity to take something from the game – something they managed to ultimately achieve.
Fans appear to have taken well to the decision that Pep Clotet decided to make ahead of the game and it seems many are looking forward to seeing the 23-year-old in between the posts in the future based on his most recent display.

I’m more happy 4 Trueman than the draw Richard. That is encouraging for him and will build his confidence. Still disappointing going forward against a make shift defence especially, when you consider the attacking talent we have. Work in progress I guess but chuffed 4 Trueman
