Birmingham City earned themselves an important win last time out in the Sky Bet Championship as they beat Luton Town 2-1 away from home.
The Blues will want to try and build on the gap that’s between them and the bottom three in the coming weeks in the league in order to at least finish this season fairly comfortably.
Up next, a clash with Neil Harris’ Cardiff City side which is a game that they will feel as though they can win in front of their own fans.
It remains to be seen, though, whether or not some new players are going to be signed in the coming weeks with Pep Clotet offering this update in his pre-match conference yesterday:

I mean without been to optimistic I doubt the board will tell pep anything until the player is about to sign on the dotted line we know he's not in charge of signings anyway
