As a manager, McCoist failed to live up to the standards he set in his playing days. The Gers icon was in charge of the club for three and a half years between 2011 and 2014, meaning he was in charge as the club was bombed into the fourth tier of Scottish football. McCoist took Rangers through the Third division before he left the club midway through their unbeaten season in 2013/14 where they won promotion from the Scottish League One and into the Scottish Championship.
Now a pundit, McCoist still has his say on the club that he scored 355 goals for in his 15 years as a Bluenose. Now though, Rangers aren’t the club that they once were in McCoist’s playing days as they sit a long way behind Celtic. The Bhoys in Green have greatly benefitted from Rangers’ fall from grace as they’ve scooped up trophies left, right and centre in absence of a major rival to contend with.

We would probably have millions to spend of Ally hadn’t ignored players like robertson & gordon while sanctioning deals for Kevin Kyle on 7k a week

So, Guardiola couldn’t turn the 7 defeats at home into wins, or at very least draws. Because thats all that was required this season to put up a real title challenge.
Ally is completely wrong.

McCoist, D Ferguson and Boyd haven’t had anything nice to say about Rangers since their pay stopped going in. I’ve yet to hear McCoist explain the gardening leave thing.

We spent 4 to 5 times the about Aberdeen and Hibs did and can't even stay above them! Talking pish Alasdair

He’s a bit presumptuous saying Rangers finishing second – I think Aberdeen and Hibs May have something to say about that!

Nonsense from Ally. We’ve had a terrible season and are 10 points behind them. We’ve been beaten off bottom of the league teams at home, turned that around alone we would be top!
