Blackpool have agreed a deal with Liverpool to sign the promising Gerard Bruna on a permanent deal. The youngster joined Liverpool from Real Madrid in 2007. Bruna possess an intelligent footballing brain and should develop into a great footballer in the Championship.
Bruna achieved success with the Liverpool reserves where he played across the midfield to help his team win a clutch of reserve silverware in recent seasons
Blackpool with fond memories of the Premier League fresh in their mind will be hungry for promotion back into the top flight. Due to Ian Holloway’s trigger happy humour and public outbursts, funny or not, it is often overlooked that he is a shrewed manager. Recent evidence is signing Adam for £500,000 and just two years later selling him for nearly £7m.
Adam’s career had stalled at Scottish giants Rangers and when Holloway signed him( Initially on loan,) Adam repaid Holloway by getting sent off! But as history books show, Adam then went on to become Blackpool’s tower in midfield. With similar faith he shown in Adam, then Bruna could prove just as important as Adam in the coming season.
