As per BuzzSport, Crystal Palace are interested in signing Marseille right-back Bouna Sarr.

It is being reported that the Eagles are after the defender, and he could cost them €10m (£8.8m). They are not the only Premier League club to be linked with a move, though – Everton have also been mentioned as contenders for his signature.
Despite Andre Villas-Boas being a fan of the 28-year-old, BuzzSport suggest that is seems likely that he will leave the French outfit in the summer window.

So far this season, Roy Hodgson is yet to really decide on a regular right-back. Joel Ward has appeared 20 times, but also missed nine matches, whilst Martin Kelly has also struggled to hold down the position on that side of the back four. Either way, it is hard to see the London club progressing with either of them as long-term options.
As such, Sarr would be a very practical signing. He has been a regular for a Marseille side currently sitting in second place behind PSG in Ligue 1 this term, playing in all but one of their 27 matches. He has been impressive both going forward and defensively, averaging 2.2 tackles and 1.8 dribbles per match, managing one goal and three assists along the way.
Having spent less than £20m across this season and last, they could well be in for a busy summer, and Sarr would be the perfect start to that. He would be a high-quality purchase from a club near the top of one of Europe’s top five leagues – Dougie Freedman would be mad not to make his move.
