Aside from a thumping in Barcelona, the Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern seem to agree Brendan Rodgers hasn’t got much wrong since joining the club.
After stagnating under Ronny Deila for two years, the Bhoys propping up the bar have been delighted to see some Parkhead progression at last.
Following some good work in the transfer market over the course of the summer, the former Liverpool coach has crafted a vibrant side in Glasgow.
The likes of Moussa Dembele and Scott Sinclair have given the Scottish champions more attacking enterprise, while Kolo Toure is looking like quite the coup at the back.
Still, the Northern Irish tactician has a rather large amount of deadwood in his squad, compiled during Deila’s tenure at Celtic Park.
With that being said, who could the 43-year-old afford to axe from his squad when the New Year rolls around?
Considering all of this, here are TWO Celtic players Rodgers must loan out in January.
Liam Henderson

Though Liam Henderson is quite rightly regarded as a highly rated prospect north of the border, the 20-year-old is not a regular starter for the Bhoys just yet.
Impressing on loan at Hibernian last year, the Scotland U21 international should be given six months to further his development before returning in the summer.
Nadir Çiftçi

There’s not a lot of point in Nadir Çiftçi at Celtic right now.
Both Leigh Griffiths and Moussa Dembele represent more dynamic options to Rodgers, with the former Dundee United struggling ever since his move over to Glasgow.
The 24-year-old boasts some good qualities but doesn’t seem a natural fit under Rodgers right now.
