Bristol City: Fans wanted to see Eliasson start v West Brom

Bristol City were on the wrong end of a 4-1 defeat yesterday evening against West Brom at The Hawthorns in the Sky Bet Championship.

The Baggies have had a cracking season so far and moved top ahead of Leeds United, whilst the Robins lost ground on the likes of Nottingham Forest in the play-off places.

At 2-1, they might have felt as though they could have got back into it in the second-half but, ultimately, the Baggies were too good and Lee Johnson now has to think about how he is going to get a quick response out of his players at the weekend.

For fans, he might be able to give himself a chance if he starts Niclas Eliasson with the winger once again impressing when coming off of the bench last night.

Niclas Eliasson- 7/10

Made a big impact when coming on. Had the left back Robinson every time and some of his balls were very good and some weren’t as good. But the Forest defenders cleared every cross which is a credit to them. Great impact from Eliasson though.
