Niclas Eliasson would have had plenty to celebrate on Saturday as he turned 24-years-old, he also helped Bristol City take three points from their tough road trip to Fulham.

The Swedish winger was in fine form once again for Lee Johnson’s side as he played a starring role for the Robins and helped the club keep the pressure on those in contention of achieving promotion to the Premier League with the 2-1 victory at Craven Cottage (BBC).
Eliasson managed to provide an assist – handing him an impressive eighth of the season – as he turned in a Man of the Match display in the capital, according to data collected by WhoScored.
Indeed, he managed to achieve five key passes in the game and completed 80% of the 15 passes he made, whilst finding a team-mate with five of the 10 crosses he attempted (WhoScored).
Fans took to Twitter to gush over the Scandanavian’s latest performance, with many of them lauding his ability and stating just how good he was – whilst also using the opportunity to hand him a birthday message or two. One even went as far to call him the Harry Potter of football.
