Burnley will travel to the Emirates knowing they will be firm underdogs for their game with Arsenal today.
The Clarets fans here in the Tavern have been in a buoyant mood for most of the season, and they have every chance of Premier League survival as we head into the all important second half of the season.
All the talk at the bar leading up to this weekend is about if Burnley can pull off a shock result and come away from the Emirates with a point – or even three.
A win for the Clarets would be a surprise to everyone in football, but in Sean Dyche, Burnley do have a very capable and wise manager who will no doubt set his team up as best he can to come away with a result.
Our landlord thinks that Burnley can pull off a shock today, and we agree, so here are TWO things Burnley can do to make sure they beat Arsenal today…
Frustrate Arsenal and defend well

Getting the Emirates crowd on the back of Arsenal could be crucial today for Dyche and his men.
The Arsenal fans can be a touchy bunch at times, and if the Clarets can keep it solid and defend well, the Gunners fans will grow increasingly frustrated.
Keeping it at 0-0 for as long as possible could be the way forward for Burnley in this game, and they might well be able to nick a goal on the break to seal what would be an unlikely victory.
Get stuck in

Arsenal like to play good football and like to quickly get into a passing game, especially on home turf.
However, Burnley will want to see as little as that as possible, and getting some big tackles in early on might disrupt Arsenal’s game enough to give the Clarets a better chance.
The home fans won’t like it, and it might be an old school tactic, but the likes of Joey Barton and Ben Mee love to put a challenge in, and this could be crucial in Burnley heading home with a positive result.
