Our Arsenal fans here in the Transfer Tavern are up in arms over another one of their players being able to leave for free in the summer.
Jack Wilshere still has been unable to agree to a new contract and his current deal ends this summer with him free to go wherever he pleases, which has not left some of the loyal Gunners happy in the bar. Possible suitors are AC Milan, who Wilshere impressed against in their Europa League first leg.
Arsene Wenger and the board should already be drawing up a list of potential replacements for Wilshere so that they are not left short if he should leave. The England midfielder has had a topsy-turvy time of it at the Emirates of late with his standard spate of injuries and a loan move to Bournemouth last season.
However, many in the bar felt that Wilshere was looking back to his best this season and to let a talent like that leave for free would be criminal. Our landlord, however, has drawn up a two-man shortlist to replace Wilshere in the summer…
Nabil Fekir

The Frenchman is having a fantastic season in Ligue 1 with Lyon so far, racking up 21 goals and seven assists in 34 games across all competitions. This type of player who can score from midfield is something that Arsenal is missing and could be a turning point within the team.
If Wenger was to capture the in-form Fekir, then our fans in the bar would be very excited to see if he can bring that form to the Premier League next season.
Wilfred Ndidi

The Leicester City man is somewhat of an under the radar player. At only 21, the holding-midfielder is one of the best performing midfielders in the Premier League at present in his position. Indeed, the Gunners desperately need a strong anchor man to protect the defence and break down the opposition’s attack.
A man like Wilfred Ndidi can do just that and could be the missing link for what is a talented Arsenal side.
