Sunderland’s transfer window has been one of frustration for much of the summer but it seems like things are starting to pick up for the Black Cats.
Following back-to-back relegations, Jack Ross will be looking to finally stop the club’s slide and get them back into the Championship.
After a slow start to the summer, Sunderland accelerated their transfer business in the last month or so. The club managed to bring in Jerome Sinclair, Luke O’Nien and most recently Charlie Wyke. The latter looks like he could be a crucial signing for Sunderland following the departure of Joel Asoro and the failed transfer attempt of Mohamed Eisa.
Jack Ross needed some to lead the line for his side and the now former Bradford City, striker looks like he will now be the one to do so.
Wyke is an experienced performer in League One and scored 15 goals in 40 games last season and due to that, Sunderland fans are pretty happy about the transfer…
Now we could be ready to do some damage! Solid squad assembled, proper striker, local hero as captain and Duncan Watmore back in a few weeks! @SunderlandAFC
