Celtic were able to extend their lead at the top of the SPL table following their 4-3 entertaining win over Aberdeen at Pittodrie yesterday.
With rivals and second-placed Rangers having been held to a 1-1 draw by Hibernian, Scott Sinclair’s hat-trick against Derek McInnes’ men helped Celtic open up a three-point gap, leaving the Bhoys in a very good position considering their game in hand.
Before that, though, an Old Firm derby versus Steven Gerrard’s side awaits, a fixture that Sinclair will no doubt be relishing given the mood he is currently in.
The 29-year-old’s form has been patchy since last term after a brilliant debut campaign at Celtic Park back in the 2016/17 season.
However, of late, Sinclair has been at the top of his game, which will only serve as bad news to Rangers ahead of Saturday’s clash between the two Glasgow giants.
