A number of Celtic fans have begged Andrew Robertson to come back to his boyhood club after the Liverpool defender responded to a tweet from the Hoops.
The Scottish champions tweeted their congratulations to the 26-year-old, along with Virgil van Dijk and his Anfield team-mates, on the Reds’ historic Premier League triumph, which prompted Robertson to respond (via @andrewrobertso5) with a green heart emoji.

The Scotland left-back was on Celtic’s books at underage level but was released by the Glasgow club for being too small before beginning his senior career at Queen’s Park. He later played for Dundee United and Hull City before joining Liverpool in 2017.
Having initially struggled to get into the Reds’ starting XI, he eventually displaced Alberto Moreno at Anfield and has gone on to win four trophies for Jurgen Klopp’s side, including last year’s Champions League triumph and now the Premier League (as per TransferMarkt).
