Celtic loanee Jack Hendry will be offered the opportunity to sign a permanent deal with KV Oostende this summer, according to reports.
Hendry in demand
The 25-year-old moved to the Belgian club last summer in the hunt for more first-team football, despite winning two Scottish Premiership titles with the Bhoys.
Hendry has received intense scrutiny during his time at Parkhead but has earned the plaudits of Oostende manager Alexander Blessin who described him as a “tower of experience” (cited by Daily Record).

In light of these comments, sporting director Gauthier Ganaye went public on the Jupiler Pro League club’s plans to exercise their option to make the deal permanent.
He told Oostende’s official website that he hopes the club can convince Hendry to stay with KVO to help his Euro 2020 chances and to build a “beautiful football future” in Belgium.
Transfer Tavern Verdict
It may seem like a lifetime ago to some Celtic supporters when Hendry was in the side under former manager Brendan Rodgers.
But after what Hoops’ fans saw of him, it might be the best move for both parties with the likes of Christopher Jullien and Kristoffer Ajer way above the Scotsman in the pecking order.
That being said, manager Neil Lennon may have a change of heart and include him in his plans for next season. Time will tell.
