Celtic: Christopher Scott could be at Parkhead for St Johnstone game

Rumoured Celtic transfer target Christopher Scott could be at Parkhead to watch the Hoops’ Scottish Premiership clash with St Johnstone.
The Lowdown: Celtic eye up Scott move
Ange Postecoglou is sure to be eyeing up potential summer additions at Celtic, as he looks to take them up a gear next season, hopefully when they are playing Champions League football.
One player they have been linked with signing is Scott, who is an exciting 19-year-old midfielder currently plying his trade at Bayern Munich.
Celtic are thought to be the front-runners to snap up the teenage prodigy and a fresh update suggests he could be edging towards a summer move to the club.
The Latest: Mdfielder could be at Parkhead
According to @Celticunderground on Twitter, Scott will be at Parkhead on Saturday afternoon as Celtic host St Johnstone in the league, having been spotted in Glasgow on Friday evening:
“Christopher Scott rumoured to be in Glasgow tonight ahead of attending game tomorrow as a guest of the club.”
The Verdict: Move surely close
Should this be true, it surely suggests that Scott is close to agreeing a move to Celtic, in what would be an exciting piece of business by the club.
At 19, the German would very much be viewed as a long-term acquisition by the Hoops but one who could also come in and be a handy squad player from the off.
Scott has made two appearances for Bayern’s first team which is no mean feat, given the world-class quality in their squad, and he also has three caps to his name for Germany’s Under-20s.
In other news, Kieran Devlin believes one current Celtic player is now a club legend. Find out who it is here.
