Celtic fell to an opening weekend defeat in the Scottish Premiership, losing 2-1 to Hearts in Edinburgh.
And a number of Hoops supporters weren’t impressed with left-back Greg Taylor for his display.
Taylor kept his place in Ange Postecoglou’s side after starting in both legs of the club’s Champions League qualifier with FC Midtjylland.
The 23-year-old played the entirety of the game against Hearts, losing possession of the ball on 19 occasions, as per Sofa Score.
Celtic fans react
These Celtic fans all vented their frustrations at Taylor on social media both throughout and after the game. One described the Scot as an ‘imposter’, while another said he ‘needs sacking’.
“People talk about Ralston bein minging but Greg Taylor is by far the worst of the lot”
“Greg Taylor is an absolute waste of a jersey”
“Greg Taylor. Imposter”
“Greg Taylor needs sacked immediately.“
“Seriously, to sell KT and end up with Greg Taylor, what a joke. Criminal.”
“It’s now at the stage where teams are targeting Greg Taylor rather than Ralston. That says it all. The worst left back I’ve ever seen in my life time.”
