Celtic are almost like a new team since their rocky start this season as Brendan Rodgers has got them back to winning ways once again.
It was a surprisingly poor Celtic team that were knocked out of the Champions League but now the Hoops have their mojo back and look destined to dominate things domestically once again.
Not only has the manager been influential but the players on the pitch have quickly recovered their form to give Celtic a fighting chance in both Europe and the league. Still, with the need to play in so many games, Celtic could find it handy to recruit another striker, to step in when Edouard and Griffiths need a rest.
Someone like Southampton’s Sam Gallagher would be a great option, considering that he has a big point to prove having failed to deliver whilst at St Mary’s.
Gallagher, who is valued at £2.7 million on Transfermarkt, is a player completely different to what Celtic currently have available to them, meaning he really could have a positive impact with the Hoops.
He has played just 20 minutes of first-team football this season and after rumours circulated in the summer about him leaving, January seems certain to be the month where Gallagher and Southampton finally part ways.
The 23-year-old still has plenty of time to shine in football and he would have taken confidence by how well he played at times last season, when on-loan with Birmingham.
With six goals to his name, the ability to find the back of the net is there, he just needs a manager like Brendan Rodgers to believe in him.
