New Celtic signing Ciaran Dickson netted a debut goal for the club’s B team on Saturday.

As to be expected, a number of Hoops supporters were quick to give their reaction to the update on social media.

Dickson, who was released by arch-rivals Rangers in the summer just months after signing a new contract at Ibrox, was pictured online holding up a Celtic shirt at Parkhead.

The Hoops didn’t announce Dickson’s arrival on what was a busy Tuesday, but he made his first appearance for the club against Morton in the SPFL Trust Trophy on Saturday, representing Celtic’s B team.

The 19-year-old wore the number 10 shirt and scored in the 29th minute with a long-range effort, but while he couldn’t prevent his new side from losing 3-1 to Morton, his first goal had a number of Hoops fans talking.
