Vieira out: Bielsa must bring these 2 replacements to Leeds United ASAP

Leeds United will be desperate to enjoy a strong start to the Championship campaign having drafted in a number of new players this summer.

The Whites will have their eyes set firmly on securing promotion to the Premier League with Marcelo Bielsa at the helm this season. Indeed, the South American is very highly-rated and has already shown his intent this summer, so promotion shouldn’t be too far out of reach for the Whites.

However, they will need to dip back into the transfer market to replace Ronaldo Vieira, who has recently moved to Italian side Sampdoria. The 20-year-old was one of Leeds’ hottest prospects and has a bright future ahead of him, so it comes as no surprise that another club has swooped in for his services.

Therefore, Bielsa must bring these TWO replacements to Leeds United ASAP…

Ryan Woods

Ryan Woods was one of the standout performers in the Championship last season as he constantly bossed the middle of midfield for current club Brentford.

Although, it has been suggested that fellow Championship side Swansea City are in talks with the midfielder, so Leeds United will have to move swiftly if they’re going to hijack any potential move.

The Whites are in desperate need of another central midfielder with the departure of Vieira and Adam Forshaw struggling to ensure consistency last season, but signing Woods may be rather difficult.

Muhamed Besic

Muhamed Besic enjoyed a successful loan spell in the Championship last season at the Riverside. But, the Bosnian has now returned back to his parent club Everton and could be on the move before the window closes.

Of course, having seen his quality in the Championship last season it’s a no brainer for Leeds United, as they’ll get an established midfielder that has previous experience at the highest level.

Therefore, die-hard supporters will soon forget about Vieira’s departure if Leeds manage to pull off an impressive swoop for Besic.
