Raheem Sterling is the talk of the Football Transfer Tavern and it seems that even Jose Mourinho is offering his opinions on the player – well according to BBC Sport at least.
The publication have claimed that according to the Chelsea boss, no player is invincible – or unsellable – and if that was one of his players, they would be shipped out.
Mourinho said: ‘I don’t like players that don’t want to play for me and my club, clearly.’
Now while we have to agree with the fact that Sterling is clearly pushing Liverpool quite far, after the news that Chelsea had entered the race for Sterling filtered down to our punters, we wondered if Mourinho would be pulling some of his typical mind games out of the bag – and this could very well simply be one of those.
We think Sterling risks turning the fans against him – and once that happens, it is the beginning of the end.
