Now as one of our punters notes, Jose Mourinho is not one to be told no very often – and it seems that he wants to make sure that does not happen this summer – and has employed some rather outside the box methods to secure Icardi’s signature.
Mourinho is reportedly bombarding the forward with text messages telling him that his future lies at Stamford Bridge and just how much he is admired by the Blues board – and as one of our regulars quips before throwing his dart, flattery will usually get you everywhere!
