Chelsea fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are eager to see just what the Mail on Sunday have to say as they claim that the Blues are willing to send one of their wingers out on loan come the January transfer window.
According to the publication, Jose Mourinho could well be willing to help his old club Inter Milan out by letting them take Mohamed Salah on loan for the remainder of the season, allowing the player more regular first team opportunities.
Given Salah has not exactly impressed since joining Chelsea from FC Basel, it is fully understandable that the club would want to get rid of him.
Considering the likes of Andre Schurrle and Loic Remy cannot break into the team on a regular basis, we think that the player once dubbed the ‘Egyptian Messi’ has no chance.
Salah would be willing to leave the club for a spell if it secured his long-term future with the Blues but as our landlord notes over a pint, we think that the only thing it will mange to do is find him a club who could take him permanently.
Chelsea fans. Would you like to see Salah go out on loan this January? Will Mourinho help out his old side? Let us know your thoughts below.
