Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are beginning to get fed-up with all the speculation regarding their under-fire manager and want a decision made quickly. However, they’re shocked by the latest reports!
The Blues at the bar have been left speechless after reading reports from The Metro which indicate Andre Villas-Boas is being considered as a potential replacement for the faltering Jose Mourinho.
They recall a disappointing spell under Villas-Boas previously, where Chelsea paid a record £13.2m to release him from his contract with Porto and then sacked him after just nine months- and he also failed to impress in the Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur.
Villas-Boas has improved his reputation with a positive spell in charge of Russian side Zenit St. Petersburg and is set to leave the club at the end of the season, when his current contract expires.
Per the reports, Villas-Boas is keen to lead Chelsea again but the same can’t be said for the lads at the bar who are growing increasingly concerned with their situation.
