Chelsea fans are lavishing praise upon Ethan Ampadu

Chelsea fans have some tremendous young players at the club. From Ruben Loftus-Cheek to Mason Mount, the Blues’ academy is working wonders, and the future is looking very bright for the Stamford Bridge faithful.

Perhaps the most exciting young Chelsea player is Ethan Ampadu. Signed from Exeter in 2017, Ampadu has had a few chances in a Chelsea shirt, and he’s taken each one well. Composed on the ball, confident and consistent, he’s hardly put a foot wrong.

Chelsea have been celebrating him over on Twitter today (Friday), with the teenager turning 18-years-old. His big day comes during a week in which he was simply stunning for his nation Wales, imposing himself on their game against Ireland with poise and quality.

Naturally, then, Chelsea fans are very supportive of him, and in response to Chelsea’s message online, plenty of fans have been discussing Ampadu. It’s fair to say that he’s very popular in Chelsea circles, with fans expecting big things.
