Chelsea fans have been picking Jorginho as the man of the match in the stunning Champions League comeback against Ajax last night.
The midfielder enjoyed a brilliant night at Stamford Bridge as he scored two penalties in the 4-4 draw against the Dutch Champions.
However, the Italian contributed more than just goals to the cause last night, playing the most passes, at the fourth-highest accuracy, of any player for Frank Lampard’s side (via WhoScored).
His ability to orchestrate from the middle of the pitch was also very apparent as he had possession of the ball for the most amount of time for the west London giants.
After a campaign of struggle under Maurizio Sarri last season, the 27-year-old has gone from strength-to-strength this campaign, already doubling his goal tally from last year.
Fans were adamant the 19-cap Italy international deserved the man of the match award after his performance as they took to Twitter to react.
