Chelsea: Fans feel suspicious over Pep Guardiola’s comments on the club

Chelsea fans were left feeling suspicious after Pep Guardiola complimented the west London giants after their 2-1 win over the Blues.

The Manchester City boss claimed in his post-match press conference that Frank Lampard’s side are ‘so good’ and that they are an ‘incredible team’. When questioned by the Sky Sports reporter on why he thought that, Guardiola responded ‘it’s Chelsea’ (via Sky Sports).

Guardiola’s comments comes amidst a good run of form for the London club, who had won six consecutive Premier League games prior to Saturday’s loss.

Over the last decade, the Stamford Bridge giants have proven to be the most successful side in England having racked up 11 major honours (via Transfermarkt) with Manchester United the Premier League nearest rivals, having won eight major honours (via talkSPORT).

Fans believed the former Barcelona manager’s comments weren’t very authentic as they took to Twitter to react.
