Chelsea duo Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori have been called up to the senior squad after a string of impressive performances for their club.
Abraham has scored eight goals for the Blues in all competitions this season, with his latest effort coming on Wednesday night in the Champions League, while Tomori has established himself in the heart of the club’s defence, starring in each of Chelsea’s last six fixtures in the Premier League and Europe (via Transfermarkt).
The 21-year-old was again hugely influential during the Blues’ 2-1 win over Lille on Wednesday evening, demonstrating his quality on the European main stage.
Tomori will now be hoping to make his senior Three Lions debut next week, while Abraham will be looking to add to his two caps.
Here’s how some Chelsea fans reacted to the news on Twitter:

Fikayo Tomori, Mason Mount and Tammy Abraham were all in the Championship last season.
They’ve stepped up, playing key roles for Chelsea in the Premier League under Frank Lampard.
All three are in the England squad together.
Blue is the colour.
