Chelsea fans are voicing their disapproval over the club’s desire to extend defender Antonio Rudiger’s contract after a report from the Daily Mail emerged.
According to the British publication, the Blues will open talks with the Germany international about a new contract at the club as he enters his final two years at the end of the season.

Rudiger has spent most of the season on the sidelines after he suffered a groin injury in the first half of the 5-2 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers (via BBC).
The 26-year-old doesn’t have the best of records when it comes to injuries, having suffered eight separate injuries prior to his move to west London back in 2017 (via Transfermarkt).
And it seems that has affected the thinking of the fans as they took to Twitter to voice their rejections over giving the player a new contract at the club.
Here is a selection of tweets from the west London faithful:
Not sure I’d look to renew he’s good but not too top level and doesn’t matter how good he is if he’s not available I’d prob look to cash in and spend big money on a top draw cb

Chelsea fans, would you sell Rudiger rather than offer him a new contract? Let us know your thoughts!
