The Daily Mail have Chelsea fans looking up with a huge amount of interest here in the Football Transfer Tavern as they seem to think the Blues are ready to join Arsenal in the race for Raheem Sterling.
The Liverpool player has been involved in a huge amount of controversy in the last few weeks, after it became clear that he would not be signing a new deal with Liverpool – for the foreseeable future at the very least.
Sterling has been accused of money grabbing but as one of our punters notes over a beer and burger at the bar, we think he could simply be hoping for a move to a bigger club where he sees trophies and the latter stages of the Champions League – something Liverpool do not look like being able to deliver.
