Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho thinks he is pretty special but according to the Daily Star, he wants one of his players to become just as special as him and our regulars in the Football Transfer Tavern cannot wait to hear this.
The Blues boss was speaking after Eden Hazard who put pen to paper on a new long-term deal with the West London outfit this week.
Mourinho noted that whilst Hazard is brilliant at the moment, there are improvements that can be made and he thinks the Belgian international winger can become the best player in world football.
Mourinho noted: “He is already a top player and his evolution has been fantastic. He is still very young and he can become the best.”
Our tavern neutrals admit that Hazard is great with the former Lille man having certainly shaken up a fair few defences this season in the Premier League.
That said, the likes of Paul Pogba and of course the current reigning duo of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi might have something to say about Mourinho’s ambitions for Hazard!
