Chelsea have reportedly made it clear that Michy Batshuayi does not have a place in the club’s plans moving forward.
According to Het Nieuwsblad (via Sport Witness), the west London outfit are looking to offload the Belgian this summer and want to use him in a deal to land Declan Rice. However, West Ham are proving difficult to budge on the 21-year-old’s status at the east London club and now Batshuayi has made it clear that he has ‘no plans’ to join the Irons.

The castaway striker has just one year left on his contract before he becomes available as a free agent. Chelsea are naturally rallying to try and cash in on him as soon as possible before they lose any money on him.
Selling him in the upcoming window should be best for both parties. Not only will Batshuayi join a club where he will receive regular game time, but the Blues can add more funds to their summer splurge.
The 26-year-old has a current Transfermarkt value of £15.7m and is still at prime age to make a real impact at a new club. Chelsea are also said to be eager to get his high wages off the books, which are currently €130,000 (£116,000).

Batshuayi must be cooperative in facilitating a summer move or he will be left out of the matchday squad at Chelsea indefinitely. With the addition of Timo Werner and both Tammy Abraham and Olivier Giroud impressing this season, there’s just no room for a fourth-string striker to participate.
