With Celtic having thoroughly dominated Scottish football this season, the Bhoys in the bar of the Transfer Tavern simply cannot wipe the smiles from their faces.
There’s little to moan about in Paradise at the moment, so much so that it seems nobody wants to leave the club, thanks to reports in the Scottish Sun.
Despite barely featuring since his arrival, Hoops ‘keeper Logan Bailly is thought to have snubbed an emergency loan move to Scottish Championship side Raith Rovers to help the goalkeeping crisis currently blighting those at Stark’s Park.
The Belgian is behind Craig Gordon and Dorus De Vries in the pecking order and comments from Raith’s club secretary Eric Drysdale on their TV channel (via the Sun) seem to indicate the 31-year-old snubbed a move to Kirkcaldy.
“But the main focus was on this Celtic player”, he said.
“Everything was tied up but suddenly the Celtic goalkeeper was non-contactable.
Efe Ambrose and Kris Commons have already been allowed to move to the Scottish Championship on emergency loan, both to Neil Lennon’s Hibernian and our fans don’t think they’d even have noticed if Bailly did leave.
