The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern were celebrating the fine performance of Mohamed Salah at the weekend. The Egyptian wing wizard bagged four goals, earmarking yet another high point in a season filled with success for the summer signing.
He isn’t the only summer signing that is impressing at the moment, though.
Liverpool, of course, sealed a deal that will see Naby Keita move to Anfield next summer, with the Reds moving quickly to tie up the deal a year in advance.
Unsurprisingly, our resident Reds have been keeping a close eye on him ever since, and on Sunday they were able to witness what was undoubtedly his performance of the season so far.
The midfielder put in a stunning display for his team RB Leipzig as they ended Bayern Munich’s run of dominance, with a goal and assist earmarking him as the man of the match on the day.
His performance has generated a lot of excitement in the Transfer Tavern, and it’s a similar tale online. Liverpool fans have since taken to Twitter to discuss the display, and it’s fair to say that everybody saw just how good he was.
