The Verdict: Big few days?
The Italian arrived at Spurs with a proven track record of winning silverware and comes as a crucial figure in Tottenham’s quest to recapture success since Mauricio Pochettino’s departure in 2019.
Losing the 52-year-old, who could also help to attract big-name players in the summer transfer window, would certainly be a major blow for the club given his CV, and it’s a scenario that chairman Daniel Levy will surely be hoping to avoid.
Spurs fans must be praying that the former Chelsea boss opts to remain with the Lilywhites ahead of what will be a crucial year, but if he does stay, the club and Levy must simply back him as he seeks to rebuild.
